Supporting Materials
- Transcripts: Submit official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all accredited institutions you have attended and/or from which you earned credit. Official transcripts can be emailed to [click-for-email] or sent to the Office of Enrollment Management address listed above.
- Personal Statement: Write a 1-2 page personal statement indicating your personal and professional interests, plans and objectives within the field of disability studies.
- Recommendations: Submit two letters of reference that provide insight into your academic competence. References from college or university faculty members are recommended. You may request recommendations through your MyTU account or send them using the paper Reference Report for Graduate Study to the above mailing address.
- Résumé: A current professional résumé is required.
Additional Requirements for International Students
International applicants should also submit the following materials.
- An official document that validates completion and conferral of a degree, diploma and/or certificate. While not required, applicants are encouraged to submit transcripts to the World Education Services for evaluation.
- Official TOEFL or IELTS exam scores if you are a non-native speaker of English. A minimum score of 79 TOEFL iBT or 6.5 on IELTS is required for admission. Learn more about additional application requirements for international students.

Applicants may apply for spring, summer and fall terms. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
