Pharmacogenomics, Precision and Translational Medicine

Pharmacogenomics is the study of how an individual's genetic makeup affects their response to medications. Precision and translational medicine factor the individual’s genetic makeup when determining a medical treatment, with the goal of identifying new treatments or drugs based on scientific discoveries.  

Pharmacogenomics and precision medicine are revolutionizing healthcare and drug development. This emerging discipline combines genomic data interpretation, personalized therapeutics and the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical practice. 

Pharmacogenomics, Precision and Translational Medicine Certificate Learning Outcomes
