Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts are considered at the time of applying. Official transcripts are required when accepting the offer at the time of deposit. Official transcripts can be sent to [click-for-email].
Recommendations
Submit two letters from college or university faculty who can speak to your academic competence and research abilities.
Goals Statement
Write a statement that articulates your specific interest in the MS program, your research goals, your future career goals, and your academic and research achievements. Your statement should clearly identify your potential research mentor(s) and relate their work and any potential projects you discussed with them to your goals.
Additional Requirements for International Students
For applicants whose native language is not English, TOEFL, IELTS or PTE Academic scores are required. The minimum scores for each exam are as follows.
- TOEFL: 79 iBT or 550 PBT
- IELTS: 6.5
- PTE Academic: 53
Application Deadlines
- Fall: Jan. 15; Dec. 15 international
- Spring: Sep. 15; August 15 international
For full consideration, applications must be submitted by the deadline. Late applications may be considered in exceptional cases.
